“The Big Question”
Each individual is handed a card that has a question on it. Everyone finds a partner, and each person asks the question on their card of their partner. Upon completion of the quick conversation, they trade cards and each look for another person to converse with.
The facilitator gives the entire group a category. Based on responses to that category, individuals form smaller, like-minded groups. Once everyone is in the smaller groups, a short conversation is facilitated.
“Have You Ever…?”
The group stands on place markers in a circle around a marker in the middle. The person in the middle asks the question, “Have you ever…?” This question is based on something that that person has experienced in their life. If anyone in the circle can answer “Yes” to the question, then they have to move to a new spot. Meanwhile, the person in the middle tries to move to a spot on the outside, thus giving the opportunity for a new person to ask a “Have you ever…?” question.
Partners interview each other based on two or three pre-determined questions. Each person then introduces their partner to the rest of the group.
