Did you know that Pennsylvania is home to hundreds of different bee species that play vital roles in supporting the farms that grow our food? Bees may be one of our most prolific pollinators, but there are many other players in the pollination game! Join us to explore the amazing world of Pennsylvania’s many pollinators and the role they play in the preservation of our beautiful spring ecosystem and the local food supply.

In this Science Saturday program, learn about natural history, conservation opportunities, and current research related to Pennsylvania’s many pollinators.

We will meet in the Weidemann Bookstore and Gift Shop in our visitor center at the start of the program. This program consists of a presentation with activities and a guided nature walk. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant. Please dress appropriately for the weather as we will spend time outside. All ages, families, and individuals are welcome.
