 u? Have you heard of nature journaling but don’t know where to start? Ha
 ve you attended one of our Community Nature Journaling events and are look
 ing for more ways to build your nature journaling skills? Check out our fr
 ee\, four-week skill-building series we’re offering remotely on Wednesda
 y evenings this fall! \nThis four-week series will provide participants w
 ith the skills and resources to dive into the world of nature journaling. 
 If you’re new to nature journaling\, or are looking for a bit more guida
 nce about how to capture natural wonders on a page\, this series is for yo
 u. We’ll explore the fundamentals of nature journaling\, including sketc
 hing skills\, new perspectives for observation\, and techniques to cultiva
 te an inquisitive mindset. Join a worldwide movement to experience how dra
 wing and writing about nature can spark your curiosity and deepen your con
 nection to the world around you. \nThis program is open to all abilities 
 and all ages\, but youth must have an adult participant registered and par
 ticipating alongside them. Each session will include time for instruction\
 , journaling\, sharing\, and an optional activity to practice during the d
 ays between sessions. Participants must provide their own basic journaling
  supplies\, including a journal\, pen\, pencil\, and colored pencils. Upon
  registration\, participants will receive a more detailed list of recommen

 r success while journaling? We’ll practice including words\, pictures an
 d numbers in our first entry\, and also learn three simple sentence starte
 rs that can help to spark awareness and curiosity.\n\n\n\n\nWednesday\, Oc
 tober 27\,\n6:30–8:00 p.m. (ET) \n\n\nSketching Skills and Techniques\n
 This week\, we’ll practice a few foundational drawing techniques that ca
 n help you capture what you’re seeing on your page. We’ll also talk ab
 out ways to quiet our inner critic and let our creativity flow! \n\n\n\n\
 nWednesday\, November 3\,\n6:30–8:00 p.m. (ET)\n\n\nMethods to Observe a
 nd Record\nHow can different perspectives help us to see and learn more? W
 e’ll practice three different exercises that encourage us to look at our
  subjects and record our observations through unique lenses.  \n\n\n\n\nW
 ednesday\, November 10\n6:30–8:00 p.m. (ET)\n\n\nNurturing Curiosity\nCu
 riosity is the root of learning. This week\, we’ll explore different typ
 es of questions and embrace the rabbit holes that nature journaling opens 
 up. \n\n\n\n\nTo register\, head to shaverscreek.org/journal. \nRegistra
 tion is capped at 30 participants. The deadline to register is Monday\, Oc
 tober 18. \nThis is a recurring\, live\, virtual program. Stable internet
  connection is required. Please ensure that you are able to attend all fou
