SUMMARY:Shaver’s Creek Under the Stars (and Planets!)
DESCRIPTION:The Shaver’s Creek Under the Stars (and Planets) program will
  be held on Friday\, October 11 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Volunteer Carolyn M
 use will offer an indoor slide show that will showcase the well-known year
 -round and fall constellations in our local nighttime skies. She will then
  take everyone outdoors to identify the constellations and determine if an
 y planets are among our stars.  \nBring a flashlight\, dress for the wea
 ther and bring sturdy footwear. If the weather is cloudy or rainy/stormy\
 , the alternate date for this event is Saturday\, October 12 from 6:30–
 8:30 p.m. The program is FREE to members\, and $5.00/person for non-member
 s. Pre-registration is necessary. Thank you to our members for supporting 
 public programs! This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.
