DESCRIPTION:What a hoot — back by popular demand is our Superb Owl Celebr
 ation! Volunteers Rodney Brubaker and Carolyn Muse will offer an indoor sl
 ide show\, discussing owl habitats\, prey choices\, hunting strategies\, n
 ighttime adaptations\, and their presence in popular culture. Then\, the
 y will take everyone outdoors and call for owls in the wild. With some luc
 k and effective listening\, the owls may call back!\nBring a flashlight\, 
 sturdy footwear\, and dress for the weather. Please be aware that masking 
 is required during the indoor portion of this event. This program is recom
 mended for ages 8 and up. \nRegister\nRegistration will be capped at 50 p
 articipants.  \nThis event is free and open to the public thanks to the 
 generous support of Shaver’s Creek members.
