I remember when I was a counselor for the first time as a freshmen at Penn State, and I was so nervous I almost didn’t go. I sure am glad that I went!

Current Company/Organization: Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center
Currently I am the Outdoor School program assistant at… you guessed it, Shaver’s Creek!
Throughout my time at Shaver’s Creek, I’ve been involved in a multitude of ways. In each of these experiences, I continue to grow into a more confident and capable educator. I love the seasonality of the work we do at the creek and how it mirrors the way the seasons change. It has shown me how you can find beauty in anything you find outside, and that is such a gift to me. Another gift is the all of the bffs I’ve gained through the creek!
And of course it wouldn’t be right not to mention my sister, Lexi Arnold (Pine), who brought me into this community. Love ya sis!
