Never expected a week in the woods teaching kids would form such a core passion of mine. Shaver’s Creek is a place that has deep roots in my heart.

I recently started as a 1:1 aide for special education and help support the science curriculum at Greenwoods Charter School. I hope to grow here as an educator using the skills and experiences from my time at Outdoor School and the Maple Harvest Festival and school programs from the internship.
Being with Shaver’s Creek helped me become the educator I am today, and I will forever and always cherish the memories made with Shaver’s Creek and the wonderful people part of it.
