Shaver’s Creek helped me see how fulfilling it can be to teach and to learn from your teaching. I loved every experience I had at the Creek, even the ones that were tough at the time. I had so many opportunities to lead and organize and work with animal ambassadors. I especially miss my time working on citizen science programs with the Creek. I’ve continued to work on projects, attend clubs and community events, and even lead a program or two of my own here in Canada! I can’t wait for more opportunities to discover.
