Current Company/Organization: Dauphin County Parks and Recreation at Wildwood Park
Today, I am working as an environmental educator for Wildwood Park. I first visited Wildwood on an intern trip to Middlecreek, so I can say thanks to Shaver’s Creek for introducing me to my current work! Besides for the formal introduction to Wildwood, Shaver’s Creek prepared me to be a confident and capable environmental educator, ready to work with any audience. I am grateful for the diverse projects that Shaver’s Creek has to offer during a single semester. From working 6 weeks of Outdoor School, to visiting with other nature centers, to working alongside volunteers for Maple Harvest Festival, I am ready to handle anything that comes my way at my current job and the next.
