My name is Catrina, and I am currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working in early childhood education. My time spent at Outdoor School had a lasting impact on the way I teach today. ODS helped shape my belief that meaningful learning doesn’t have to happen within four walls. It prepared me to think outside of the box, meet students where they are, and use the natural environment as a powerful teaching tool.
Incorporating the outdoors into learning allows me to create engaging, hands-on experiences that truly connect with my students. Whether it’s practicing skills outside, exploring nature, or simply changing the environment, being outdoors has become an essential part of my teaching approach!
