I attended outdoor school as a fifth grader and came back ten years later as an intern. Shaver’s Creek had the same positive impact on me as an adult as it did when I was a camper!

I currently work as a middle school STEM teacher. Shaver’s Creek taught me to be creative with my teaching and emphasize discovery. My students are able to follow their own curiosities, which gets them more interested in their learning. I am grateful to have worked with so many talented educators at Shaver’s that shaped me into who I am today.
