I found Shaver’s Creek in 2014 while searching the internet for summer internships. After one year of the internship, seasonal jobs a few other places, and a summer as an assistant camp director, I made my way back to Shaver’s Creek as the School Programs Director in 2018. The place and people here drew me in and continue to influence my career, my community, my worldview, and my life in ways I could never have anticipated. I feel lucky every day I drive over the mountain to get to do what I love with people who also love what they do and love where we do it.
