Current Company/Organization: FC&E Engineering in Brandon, MS
After I graduate in May 2026 with my Environmental Resource Management degree I am moving to Brandon Mississippi to work in environmental consulting. I am particularly excited about the field work and travel component of working in the environmental field. Shavers Creek helped prepare me for my work by giving me opportunities to grow as a leader in environmental education and articulate information to kids. By becoming knowledgable and a leader with Outdoor School I am now able to act more confidently in unprecedented situations, understand people of varying ages, and grow closer to my natural world. I will always be grateful for how Shavers creek helped shape me into the environmental leader today and I hope I left a lasting impact on some of my campers to be stewards of their environment in the future.
