My time at Shaver’s Creek shaped everything about what I hold dear today. After obtaining a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from Penn State, where I focused my work in forest response to climate change, I began working as a teacher in early childcare spaces! Growing up attending, learning to lead, and then working as a naturalist at Shaver’s Creek’s summer programming is one of the most important parts of my early journey and I carry it with me everywhere I go.
