Feldman, Jeff (Eagle)

Shaver’s Creek is where I ‘grew up’ professionally and it played a foundational role in shaping who I have become, both as a person and a professional.

Years at Shaver’s Creek: 1985–1993

Positions Held: Intern, Outdoor School, SEED Semester, Student-Intern-Program Director

Current Company/Organization: Eagle’s View Enterprises (Self-Employed)

For the past 30 years, I’ve run a team and leadership development training, facilitation, and coaching firm serving private, public, and nonprofit organizations. I’ve always been very experiential in my approach. And now I’m shifting a bit toward design work . . . be it designing learning experiences, team events, educational exhibits, etc. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to design and build an escape room for a client to use as a team and leadership development tool and that was an amazing experience. I’m exploring more work along this line. And my time at Shaver’s Creek laid the groundwork for all of this. My roots as an educator were first nurtured here. This is where I gained my on-the-job training in team building. Program design, project management, event coordination . . . the range of work I did at Shaver’s Creek opened up these possibilities and skill sets for me. It’s no exaggeration to say that I would not be where I am today, living the life I now lead, without Shaver’s Creek. I am forever grateful for my time as a Shaver’s Creek student, intern, and staff member.
