I would not be the professional or person that I am today without the creek. The classes I took at Shaver’s Creek have proven to be the most valuable part of my Penn State education.

Current Company/Organization: The University of Wyoming
I am a graduate research assistant and student currently at the University of Wyoming. I was given this opportunity because of my work experience with the National Park Service in Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The classes, and programs I got to participate in as an undergraduate gave the experience, confidence, and resources to work at my two favorite National Parks.
After graduate school, I plan to continue to work with the National Park Service and hope to gain a permanent position in Visitor Use Management.
