Join Shaver’s Creek staff Alexa Sarussi for a free, in-person morning of nature journaling!
In May, we’ll visit Plowshare Produce, a small, family-run, organic vegetable farm. We’ll take a tour of the farm and have lots of time to explore, draw, and write amidst the sprawling fields at the start of the vibrant growing season. This site is particularly welcoming to children who enjoy drawing, writing, and/or exploring with a responsible guardian nearby.
All ages, families, and individuals are welcome. We encourage parents to bring children who express genuine interest in nature drawing, but ask that they monitor their behavior. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant.
