I have learned so many skills during my time at Shaver’s Creek—how to identify birds and trees; how to create and facilitate an interpretative program; building my creativity and confidence. I have such an appreciation for the place, the people, and the experience that is Shaver’s Creek that I started here in the fall of 2001 and I never left. Having spent 20 years physically caring for the site, I am proud to say I am caring for Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center in my new role as Operations Site Manager.
