Current Company/Organization: Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center
Since arriving at Shaver’s Creek in 2023, I’ve been managing the Musser Gap Greenway property just over the mountain in Centre County. This job has allowed me to have an impact in my work area while mixing the partnerships and knowledge I’ve picked up at the Greenway with the passion and expertise of my colleagues at the Environmental Center.
Over the past few years, my confidence and expertise in my work has expanded in directions I never anticipated, and I’ve been able to have so many fun and fulfilling experiences. A few examples include: releasing five rehabilitated baby opossums, raising money to restore dozens of acres of habitat, and partnering with colleagues to create a native tree nursery.
I very much look forward to continued growth as a conservation professional with Shaver’s Creek and all our hardworking partners!
