I started my journey with Shaver’s Creek as a camper in the early 2000s. By 2007, I was a leader in training, loving the behind-the-scenes work. I volunteered at festivals and took many courses through the center. Now, I lead the youth conservation education nonprofit Wildlife Leadership Academy.
Throughout my years at SCEC, I was introduced to future colleagues, learned lessons in leadership, took the time to slow down to observe nature more slowly, and made memories that have lasted a lifetime.
