Shaver’s Creek only amplified my love for the outdoors. I was able to learn how to be a better naturalist, which in turn has helped me be an environmental educator in Wisconsin and camp program director back here in Pennsylvania. It helped me make lifelong friends (Shout out to Kristen Mehl since she gave me a shout out as well!) and a lot of wonderful mentors. I am very grateful for the summer I spent there!
