Animal Encounters

Shaver’s Creek is home to a variety of animal ambassadors that help educate students and community members about a wide range of conservation initiatives. Animal encounter programs are a one-of-a-kind way to get to meet our ambassadors in a more intimate setting while learning all about their background as an individual and their history as a species. You’ll learn how to get hands-on with local wildlife conservation actions, hear about projects that need your financial support, and discover ways to continue learning about these amazing species.

You’ll also hear more about the mission of the Shaver’s Creek wildlife program and have ample opportunity to ask questions and connect with our knowledgeable wildlife education staff.
