Come explore the changing of the seasons at Shaver’s Creek!
As summer turns to fall, how do animals begin preparing for winter? How do humans celebrate the seasons? Join Shaver’s Creek naturalists to learn all about the equinox and it’s significance, from astronomy to ecology to cultural history and more. After a lesson in our Outdoor Classroom, we’ll take a short walk to the lake to observe some of these changes for ourselves.
This program is free and no registration is required.
Stick around after to join our weekend Aviary and Herpetarium programs!
