Join Shaver’s Creek staff Alexa Sarussi for a free, in-person morning of nature journaling. This month we’re headed to Julian, PA, to visit Sengle’s Mountainhome Blueberries, a family-run pick-your-own blueberry farm. We’ll have plenty of opportunity to explore the vibrant colors of blueberries in every stage of ripeness, plus greenery, flowers, beautiful landscapes, and more!
While the session will not include any blueberry picking, participants are invited to schedule an appointment for their own picking at a separate time.
This session will introduce participants to diverse nature journaling techniques. It will culminate with sharing our learnings and reflecting together. All ages, families, and individuals are welcome. We encourage parents to bring children who express genuine interest in nature drawing and to monitor their behavior. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant.
