Join us in August at the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm at Penn State, a 4-acre working farm that engages students in growing and distributing produce through a food justice lens. The Student Farm is a hidden gem at the edge of Penn State’s main campus, tucked amongst quiet fields behind the Arboretum, but easily accessible once you know where it is. We’ll take a tour of the farm and have time to draw and write amid the abundance of flowers and greenery.
All ages, families, and individuals are welcome. We encourage parents to bring children who express genuine interest in nature drawing, but ask that they monitor their behavior. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant.
