Join Shaver’s Creek staff to expand your herbal knowledge and grow your relationship with plants!
During this session, we’ll spend time identifying and sketching our featured plant, aloe. We’ll also discover its uses and create a take-home item. Children are encouraged to participate with adult supervision.
No preparation is needed. Materials will be provided, but participants are also welcome to bring their own sketchpad and pencils.
Please note: This workshop will take place fully indoors in our Hamer classroom.
The Shaver’s Creek parking lot is still closed for construction. Participants should plan to park at Stone Valley Recreation Area and walk approximately 15 minutes along the marked trails to reach Shaver’s Creek. Please dress for the weather, including proper footwear. If you require ADA parking, please reach out to skye@psu.edu.
