Our Beloved Beavers

We’ve got some busy beavers gearing up for winter at Shaver’s Creek! Join us to learn all about the largest rodents in North America.

We’ll begin in our Silvi Classroom, where you’ll learn about beavers’ habitats, adaptations, behaviors, and conservation status. You’ll then have a chance to put your new knowledge to the test as we search for signs of beavers on a guided walk along our Point trail. Be sure to dress for the weather — this program will be held rain or shine.
