Meet the Creek

Bundle up, grab your binoculars, and meet us at the Point Pavilion for a chance to observe and learn to identify the migrant waterfowl on Lake Perez! Species seen may include Buffleheads, Pied-billed Grebes, Hooded Mergansers, and more! If we are lucky, we might even get to witness a duck courtship display, as winter is when many duck species choose their mate for the year.
Our Meet the Creek programs are free and fun for all ages — no registration required. Stop by our Visitor Center if you need help finding the Point Pavilion.
