Kids Corner 2012 is in full swing!

It’s that time of the year again—Kids Corner has just started up! Wednesdays from now until December 12th you can bring your child out to Shaver’s Creek from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. to explore nature with a leader from Shaver’s Creek. The theme for this year is: “Nature is SENSEational!” So bring your child out to see, hear, smell, touch and even taste nature.  A different sense will be focused on each week.  (Please note that there will be no Kids Corner on November 21 due to Thanksgiving holiday.)

Best of all, Kids’ Corner is FREE thanks to the support of our members and Growing Tree Toys! So if you and your child enjoy listening to stories, playing games, singing songs and exploring nature, Kids Corner is the place to be. Feel free to bring a zero-waste lunch and stick around to explore our Raptor Center and Discovery Room. We hope to see you soon!
