Many of you came out last September for our first Shaver’s Creek Music Festival that doubled as a fundraiser for our new stage project. Well, the stage is up and ready to host some music!
Plans are in the works for the 2nd Shaver’s Creek Music Festival to be held on Sunday, September 4. Stay tuned for further details in the coming weeks as we finalize musical lineups and ticket information.
In the meantime, though, come out this summer for Evenings of Music at Shaver’s Creek. The first one kicks off Friday, June 10 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. with local band Dreams and Bones.
Dreams and Bones is an acoustic trio formed in the fall of 2009. Their songs are a mix of original Americana compositions, classic folk tunes and acoustic rock from the past four decades. Their unique blend of instrumental arrangements and vocal harmonies are both tasteful and powerful. Click below to hear a sample of their music.
Tickets are $5/person “at the door”. Feel free to bring a picnic to eat on the lawn; but no alcohol, please. Call 863-2000 with questions.
