Honoring the Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice marks the beginning of our winter season, but what does that mean? Join us in our Silvi Classroom to learn about the science of the Winter Solstice and how it may affect Earth’s inhabitants, currently and historically. We’ll be celebrating the natural phenomenon with some animal interpretation, human history, and winter craft-making! This program will take place indoors, but be sure to dress for the weather if you plan to enjoy our trails and facilities afterwards.
