Join Shaver’s Creek staff Alexa Sarussi for a free, in-person morning of nature journaling.
Fox Hill Gardens is a unique home property which was turned into a landscape and nursery that is full of beauty in every season. Since 1990, they’ve been specializing in native and shade plants, and April is the perfect time to start learning and thinking about what to add to your own garden! Come along with us to explore the maze that is one of State College’s local hidden gems.
This session will introduce participants to diverse nature journaling techniques. It will culminate with sharing our learnings and reflecting together. All ages, families, and individuals are welcome. We encourage parents to bring children who express genuine interest in nature drawing and to monitor their behavior. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant.
Registration is capped at 20 participants.
This event is free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of Shaver’s Creek members.
