Astronomy Basics: Under the Stars of the Northern Hemisphere

When: October 21, 2020, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Add to Calendar: iCal | Google

Join our friend — and frequent volunteer — Carolyn Muse as she provides a free virtual workshop on astronomy basics titled, “Under the Stars of the Northern Hemisphere.”

Since the beginning of time, humans have looked to the stars for guidance, storytelling, and out of pure curiosity and awe. On the evening of October 21st, long-time Shaver’s Creek volunteer Carolyn Muse will join us over Zoom to teach us about the basics of astronomy, share stories rooted in mythology, and give us information on the Orionids meteor shower that will peak on the night of the event.

We will meet via Zoom at this link: https://psu.zoom.us/j/96375497832
