Add to Calendar: iCal | Google

Are you interested in attracting birds to your own backyard? Curious what feeders are best? Which birds prefer suet, peanut butter, or black oiled sunflower seeds? Come to Shaver’s Creek and learn how to feed birds with naturalists Doug Wentzel and Carmen Hixson! We will go on a short walk to look at what landscape features attract birds, look at our own feeder set-up, then head inside to look at different feeder and seed options, as well as some common bird identification.

This program is geared toward adults, but youth are welcome to come along. Please be aware that masking is required during the indoor portion of this event.

This event is free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of Shaver’s Creek members.
