What a hoot — back by popular demand, our Fall Owl Prowl is here, just in time for Halloween! Longtime volunteers Rodney Brubaker and Carolyn Muse will offer an indoor slide show to talk about the most common owls in our region, as well as how owls became associated with Halloween. Afterward, they will take everyone outdoors and call for owls in the wild. With some luck and effective listening, you may hear the owls call back!
Bring a flashlight, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy footwear.
This program is recommended for ages 8 and up; registration is limited to 50 participants.
