Shaver’s Creek partners with Juniata College artist-in-residence Lauren Strohacker as one site for her community-wide art project that explores our encounters with wildlife — both disappeared and present. Together we will examine the biodiversity of our region through public art installations, community workshops, and a evolving exhibition at the Juniata College Museum of Art in Huntingdon. Beyond viewing the artwork, visitors are encouraged to participate by sharing their knowledge of and stories about the wildlife of the region. All ages creative stations will be set up for the duration of the event.

Event: Saturday, September 21, 6pm – 9pm

Artist Lectures: 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
