As the much-anticipated Birding Cup continues into Saturday, we invite you to join our conservation interpreters for a Mini Birding Cup around the visitor center. Bird watchers of all experience levels are invited to any or all of these short walks to identify as many bird species as possible in 24 hours on the lake and in the marshes, meadows, and forests around Shaver’s Creek. A small 2022 Birding Cup decal is available for participants who make a donation toward the Birding Cup fundraiser.
We will meet in front of our visitor center before birdwatching on the Black Walnut trail.
This event is free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of Shaver’s Creek members.
