Want to learn more about the birds that visit your backyard? Come join us at our feederwatching station in the Silvi Classroom for our Project FeederWatch kickoff celebration!
Project FeederWatch, run by Cornell Lab of Ornithology in partnership with Birds Canada, is a survey of birds that visit backyards and nature centers — anywhere a bird might hang out in the winter months.
At this free, family-friendly event, Shaver’s Creek staff will demonstrate the seven simple actions to best attract, support, and appreciate our feathered neighbors through the winter. You will also have the opportunity to craft your very own bird feeder to take home with you! Come learn with us!
