Bring family and friends to discover all that Shaver’s Creek has to offer in this free and fun open house for all ages! You can expect a variety of events throughout the day, from hands-on activities to guided programs and more. Unless otherwise noted, activities are rolling with no registration required.
Activities to include:
- Informal interpretation in our Klingsberg Aviary and Litzinger Herpetarium
- Hamer Classroom Nature Museum
- Birds and Buffleheads — guided birding on the boardwalk trail
- iSpy…Little Naturalists! — for toddlers and accompanying adults
- Nature journaling
- Nature arts and crafts
- Games for kids (ages 5–12)
- Live music with Cardinal (11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.)
