What a hoot — back by popular demand is our Superb Owl Celebration! Volunteers Rodney Brubaker and Carolyn Muse will offer an indoor slide show, discussing owl habitats, prey choices, hunting strategies, nighttime adaptations, and their presence in popular culture. Then, they will take everyone outdoors and call for owls in the wild. With some luck and effective listening, the owls may call back!
Bring a flashlight, sturdy footwear, and dress for the weather. Please be aware that masking is required during the indoor portion of this event. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.
Registration will be capped at 50 participants.
