Join the Penn State Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Huntingdon County for a workshop on designing home gardens with native plants. You don’t have to be an expert in landscape design or understand the language and tools of the profession in order to create a beautiful native or pollinator garden.

This workshop will identify many native plants, cover the benefits of using native plants in the home garden, show methods for designing gardens to include native plants, review considerations for choosing the right plant for the right place, present a case study, and provide tools to help participants design their own space.

Attendees will receive a “coupon” authorizing them to shop the native plant sale one hour before it opens to the public. This $10.00 workshop is open to adult participants.

Registration is capped at 20 participants.
